Family Business
River Apartments is co-owned by Kristin and her son, Bjarki Már. It was founded in 2015.
River Apartments offers three Apartments. Two of them, Studio Apartment and One-Bedroom Apartment are located by the river Ölfusá but Central Apartment is located downtown Selfoss.
River Apartments was founded in 2015 by Kristin and Bjarki. They began with only Studio Apartment but in 2016 they added One-bedroom Apartment. In January 2019 they will open Central Apartment. Bjarki and Kristin have worked together since day one to make sure that every single customer experience a perfect stay. As a result, River Apartments has 9.8 rating on Booking.com and 5* on AirBnb.
The Apartments are equipped with most fundamentals, f.x. washer and dryer, fully equipped kitchen, coffee, washing powder, TV with international channels and so on. When staying in Studio and One-Bedroom Apartments you enjoy the company of the river Ölfusá, which is right outside the window.
Every Apartment has free private parking.
River Apartments is located in the middle of the Golden Circle. Supermarket and Restaurants are in a walking distance. The Selfoss Golfcourse is only 2km away, and is one of the longest courses by the river in Europe. Selfoss swimming pool is located in 7min walking distance or 2min by car. Central Apartment is located downtown Selfoss and Studio and One-Bedroom Apartments are located in an exclusive neighborhood by the river.
